Without the money we would have stalled at the stage of having a very important repository of samples without being able to look at them.

Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to meet some fantastic people, both students and teachers, and learn some fantastic things, both in and out of the classroom and lecture theatre.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to come to ANU and helping me to learn so much in an industry [Forestry] where I hope I can really make a difference.

The scholarship has given me the freedom to focus on other initiatives within the community that I wouldn’t have had time to do if I were working.

I found it encouraging as I was really struggling in accounting having not taken it before. I found it much harder than maths courses, and winning this prize really boosted my confidence.

Studying overseas brought to life the world in which the ancients lived and allowed me to continue my studies of Classics with a new perspective.
