Prizes
Many students, past and present, have benefitted not only from the financial assistance of receiving a prize but also from the recognition of excellence that the prize represents. For most, a prize gives much needed encouragement and demonstrates, to future employers, aptitude and ability to perform.
Graduating from university with a prize represents your achievements at the university and is an extremely powerful tool to have when distinguishing yourself from graduates around the world. But for many ANU graduates, who top their relative subjects, no such advantage is given to them.
Supporting a prize at ANU makes a significant difference. It provides encouragement and recognition to student’s who will go on to make a difference to the world and helps motivate all students to apply themselves as best as they can.
You can make a difference by:
- donating online to an existing prize
- making a donation using one of the options on our How to give page
- establishing a new prize by contacting Vicki Dawes on +61 2 6125 7814 or by email at philanthropy@anu.edu.au. Your prize can be established in your area of particular interest, in memory of a close relative or friend, to support a cause or encourage greater focus on a particular area of study.

“Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to meet some fantastic people, both students and teachers, and learn some fantastic things, both in and out of the classroom and lecture theatre. ”
